The Chaussy Inn
Located on the Col du Chaussy, adjacent to the Nordic foyer, Valérie and Célia welcome you from December to March and from May to September. You can stop here for lunch, a drink or just to relax. The large sunny terrace offers uninterrupted views of the Aiguilles d’Arves and the surrounding peaks.

- When is the Espace Nordique du Grand Coin open?
The Grand Coin Nordic Area is open from December to March, subject to favourable weather conditions.

- How do I get to the Espace Nordique du Grand Coin?
The Espace Nordique du Grand Coin is accessible by car from La Chambre and/or Saint-François-Longchamp and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. There are car parks at the Nordic hostels at the start of the pistes.
- Is it possible to drive through the estate in winter?
No, the road between the different areas of the resort is closed in winter. Access is via each slope, with no direct road link. The road opens in May.
- How do you get around the estate?
Links between sectors are only available on cross-country skis or snowshoes, using the marked itineraries in the area.
- Are access roads maintained in winter?
Yes, the access roads to the main entrances to the estate are cleared of snow and made safe.
- Is the site accessible to beginners and families?
Yes, access is straightforward and the estate offers areas suitable for all levels of ability, in the immediate vicinity of the fireplaces.
