Saint-Colomban-des-Villards is nestled halfway up the Col du Glandon, at an altitude of 1,100 metres.

The village is surrounded by majestic peaks, including the Grand Truc, the Pic de Frumezan, the Cime de Sambuis and the Aiguilles d’Argentières, which dominate the Combe d’Olle and the Grand’Maison dam.
