For their 17th edition, the Celti'Cimes offer you a great concert! In the 1st half, Scotland's Calum Stewart on bagpipes in a trio with Breton Yann Le Bozec on bouzouki and dancer Sophie Stephenson, before giving way to the group Solas!

Calum Stewart:
Calum Stewart, a Scottish musician living in France, is an award-winning Irish piper, flautist and composer.
Calum's distinctive musical voice - expressed through the wild, shimmering sound of the Irish Uilleann Pipes and the rich, powerful tones of the wooden transverse flute - has been developed through collaborations within Scottish and Irish traditions.
His most recent albums, True North (2023) and Tales from the North (2017), bring together traditional melodies and lyrical compositions, inspired by the landscape and heritage of Calum's native northern Scotland.
He is well known in many musical circles, having recorded several discs and pieces with the London Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
He was a big hit on the Place Opinel stage in 2021, and Celti'Cimes is honored to welcome him back this summer!

Yann Le Bozec :
Yann Le Bozec is a multi-instrumentalist who accompanied Calum on his previous appearance at Celti'Cimes, on double bass. He returns here to the bouzouki, and plays in several groups based in Brittany. The two musicians have collaborated on numerous projects, concerts and albums.

Sophie Stevenson :
Sophie Stevenson (https://stepdancer.weebly.com/) is a Scottish dancer specializing in step dancing and other traditional dances, and has performed at festivals in many European countries, the USA and Canada. She usually shares the stage with Calum Stewart.

Solas :
Since 2025, Solas has been celebrating thirty years of music and concerts around the world with incredible energy! This Irish-American group is one of the best-known in their musical style, and has been hailed by the Boston Globe as "the best Celtic band this country has ever produced" and by the Wall Street Journal as "the traditional Irish band bearing all the hallmarks of greatness".
Since its inception in New York in 1995, Solas has remained a fixture on the Irish and American musical landscape - a source of talent and inspiration that has led to new proposals in musicality, repertoire and intensity. Over the course of twelve critically acclaimed albums and countless international tours, Solas has made known to the world his love and respect for the traditions of Irish music, as well as his American sense of melodic and instrumental adventure. In 2017, after a remarkable career spanning two decades, the band decided it was time to take a break.
Now, after eight years, Solas is back and celebrating its 30th anniversary with a new world tour!
Celti'Cimes has already welcomed some of its founding or current members: John Doyle, Karan Casey, Niall Vallely, Nuala Kennedy, at various editions and is absolutely delighted to welcome them back on stage, in Albiez, this summer!
