A passer-by stumbles upon a guinguette table beneath a pergola. L’Ombre des Oiseaux has everything it needs to be an idyllic spot. Except perhaps a glass of water. But as in all stories of paradise, there is an ‘Other’. Nothing serious, but everything we thought we had to ourselves now has to be shared. And there, with no shade to hide in, everything is laid bare – from physical differences to character traits. Do you think a parasol would be enough?
Plant one in paradise and everything starts to sway up to 7 metres high. Reality capsizes and the two men on board cling to each other to stay on their feet.
