Description
Music can convey so many things. Here, the aim is clear: to lull you into a soothing half-sleep!
Here, clapping is forbidden, but we’re allowed to snore!
Mr Bulle (better known as Mélo) enjoys composing with gentleness and delicacy, creating soundscapes and sonic textures, as well as semi-improvised pieces.
Electronic music takes centre stage, but is most often used to complement one of his instruments.
Trained as a classical guitarist, Mr Bulle is a multi-instrumentalist. Piano, keyboard and, above all, the kora – a traditional Mandinka harp (West Africa) – seem tailor-made for siestas, such is the spellbinding nature of its aura.
The fusion with computer-assisted music (CAM) is powerful; as long as we know how to balance its intensity and light with silence, a whole new world can be created.
