The Fête du Bois is back for a day dedicated to woodworking trades, skills, and traditions. Artisans, enthusiasts, and curious visitors will come together to share their passion through demonstrations, activities, and workshops open to everyone.
2026 Program:
Starting at 8:30 a.m.
• Bas-relief sculpture contest organized in collaboration with the Creartissime association.
• Raffle with the sculpture that wins the People’s Choice Award as the prize.
Around 5:00 p.m.
• Sculpture contest awards ceremony.
From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Hands-on workshops open to the public:
o Wood carving for children
o Introduction to woodturning
• Demonstration of the craft of log cabin building by Michael Grèzes, a specialist in solid wood construction. Also discover his activities for exploring and learning the craft of traditional timber framing.
• Presentation and exhibition on hunting, offering insights into the role of the hunter, wildlife management, and traditions associated with this world.
• Giant wooden games for the whole family, free of charge.
Refreshments available on-site throughout the day.
