Description
This hike takes you to the summit of Casse-Massion, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama: the Arvan valley at your feet, and in the distance, the majestic peaks and glaciers of Haute Maurienne and Italy stretching to the horizon.
The height difference may seem impressive, but the gradual climb makes this hike perfectly accessible to families and regular hikers. Along the way, you'll discover the new Mont Tissot Cross, inaugurated in August 2012. It replaces the Croix de Saint Laurent, a historical landmark erected in 1842, renovated in 1942 and struck by lightning in 2011. A stop full of charm and emotion that will add a nice touch to your mountain adventure!
