Along the way, you'll discover an orientation table to help you identify the surrounding peaks. Les Trois Croix are the remains of a calvary originally consisting of 14 crosses, erected in the 15th century by the inhabitants of the hamlet of La Rochette, praying to be spared from the plague. Loaded with history, this hike will appeal to most hikers, offering both heritage and nature.
