Le Coin

Starting from the hamlet of Nanchenu, at the foot of the ski slopes, this route crosses a mountain stream before climbing a steep service track that joins the alpine ski run. The hike passes through a peaceful and sunny environment, with open views of the surrounding peaks and alpine pastures. The arrival at Le Coin mountain inn is the highlight of the walk. Nestled in a preserved mountain setting, it provides a pleasant stopping point in the heart of the Maurienne landscapes. An alternative starting point is available from La Perrière, on the road above the campsite, allowing hikers to join the main route directly. The return journey follows the same route. For a more varied descent, it is also possible to head towards La Chal, passing near the top station of the Ormet chairlift before descending through the forest.
