Snowshoe route: La Mollette

Departure: Saint-Alban-des-Villards / Premier Villard / La Tourne Parking A challenging hike in a rather wild setting between old alpine meadows, deciduous trees, and spruce trees. At the top of the hamlet of Premier Villard, park at the start of the Replat forest road and then take this road. At Plan du Cruet, turn left onto the Replat forest road. After three hairpin bends, the trail reaches Replat, where several chalets are located. Continue along the forest road, which climbs steadily, past the first bend, continue to the second bend, and turn left onto a relatively flat track. When you reach the end of this forest road, turn left onto the track that descends along the left bank of the Merlet stream to D927 E. Take the road on the left, which will descend gently to the parking lot.
