A beautiful walk on the heights of Jarrier towards the Notre-Dame des Chambeaux chapel. The out-and-back route winds along a wide path through the Chambeaux mountain pastures, dominated by the eponymous chapel. Panoramic view from the summit.
The village of Jarrier has many hamlets and chapels. Les Chambeaux is the highest perched chapel in the village. The first chapel was built in 1864, but destroyed by a violent storm in 1935. It was rebuilt in 1941 thanks to the determination of parishioners who were very attached to this place of prayer.
