Tour de l'Armelaz

The Tour de l'Armélaz is aimed at experienced hikers in search of demanding, authentic itineraries. The route alternates long climbs, aerial passages and more rolling sections, offering a complete reading of the Savoyard relief. You'll pass through pastoral zones, high-altitude woodlands and traditional hamlets, witness to a land that's still very much alive. The Col du Chaussy is a highlight of the itinerary: a vast open plateau, it reveals a marked mountain panorama and an environment shaped by the seasons, frequented in winter by Nordic skiers. The whole route is distinguished by its wild, undeveloped character, where physical commitment is rewarded by total immersion in the mountains. A hike with character, combining effort, technicality and unspoilt nature.
