Tour des Aiguilles d'Arves - 7-day walking itinerary.

Elevation : 1360m
Zone de loisirs des Léchères, 124 route de Villargondran, 73300 Albiez-le-Jeune

Description

Touring the emblematic Aiguilles d'Arves is an adventure you won't soon forget. The scenery is sumptuous, with alpine meadows, mineral peaks and small, welcoming refuges.
With no particular technical difficulties, apart from a few steep slopes on stabilized paths, and a few torrent crossings with varying degrees of water depending on the time of year and the previous day's weather, this itinerary between Savoie and Hautes-Alpes, between the former duchy and the former kingdom, nevertheless requires good physical condition, experience of long-distance hiking and suitable personal equipment. The GPS track for this complete loop does not include the Passage de l'Epaisseur. If you're willing and able to take on this particular stage, you can still do the full loop, but in an "8"! This is a mountain itinerary. You need to be well equipped and experienced in the mountains before embarking on this tour.
