This snowshoe hike offers a gentle ascent through the forest, close to the famous Croix d'Albiez. The itinerary, both steady and regular, offers an excellent compromise between sporting effort and landscape discovery, in a typically Maurienne mountain atmosphere. The climb is steady but without any major technical difficulties. As you leave the forest, you'll enjoy magnificent views of the Aiguilles d'Arves, the Vanoise massif and the Arvan valley.
Depending on snow conditions, bring snowshoes or snow boots.
